Corbin Introduces Dual Tour Saddles for 2014 Indian Chief Models

Hollister, CA -Corbin announced today the introduction of their new Dual Tour Saddles for Indian’s 2014 Chief models… the perfect blend of form and function. As always, we’ve maximized the seating area and positioned the rider bucket in the sweet spot to offer the best possible ergonomics and long range comfort. Bucket shaping of the front seating area gives an unprecedented amount of body support… It provides over six inches of support to your lower back. Towards the front of the bucket we design the saddle narrower to allow for ground reach. Smaller riders may prefer to slide forward and out of the bucket at stop signs for the best ground reach.

Corbin’s Dual Touring saddle accepts an adjustable backrest in both the rider and passenger seating areas. Corbin backrests install and remove easily with a single bolt and adjust to provide a tailored fit to rider posture. In the front, we’ve built in special hardware that also allows the backrest to be adjusted fore and aft. You can use a single backrest transferred front to back as needed or two for full time use.

Backrests are available in several styles to suit your taste. We’ve found the #297-SB standard and #02-SB Ovalbac to provide the right blend of clean visuals and rider support. Both give you an additional nine inches of vertical support and are sculpted to fit the shape of your back. Covered with genuine leather to match your saddle and built up with Comfort Cell foam for long lasting comfort.Corbin’s Dual Tour has the option of electric seat heaters in both the rider and passenger seating positions. Both the rider and passenger areas are controlled independently via conveniently located switches in the left side panels. Our seat can plug directly into wiring that exists on the motorcycle, but this method allows the heater to run with the ignition off. Instead we recommend use of the Corbin supplied wiring pigtail that integrates with the OEM fusebox to take advantage of switched power. Installation is simple and complete instructions are included.

Our Fibertech base material and patented manufacturing process allows a perfect fit to the lines of the fender and tank. This rigid baseplate provides the saddle with a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the foam. The entire seat rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job and mounts to your bike with a tongue in the front and single screw at the rear of the fender.

On the outside we use genuine leather seating for a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. We have obtained a special distressed tan leather just for Indian models to coordinate with their accessories or choose our standard natural grain black leather depending on your bike’s options. We’ve designed a cover pattern that blends visually with the Chief’s visuals and allows a variety of customization options like a tasteful color coordinated welt (shown). Genuine leather fringe lends a truly classic look and comes standard to match the rest of your new seat. In keeping with the design of the OEM components, we’ve incorporated an oversized stitching so you keep consistent look across all components and that vintage appeal.
